Time for sketches! #93

Happy Thursday Everyone!!! It's Sketches! { by tamara} again. Here is the card I made using the Sketch #93 this week.

If you want to play along, make sure you upload your link to the site so we can all check it out! (Now you can turn it, flip it, stretch it and rotate it).

There isn't a lot of stamping on this card. The labels were cut using my Cricut and "Storybook" cartridge from Provo Craft. I stamped the sentiment ($stamp from Studio G) onto the cream label using Jumbo Java (VersaMagic) ink. Just to add a bit of color (craft ink) on the flowers. Then, I sponged around the edges with New Sprout (Memento) craft ink. The Designed paper is from the Basic Grey paper pad called "Two scoops". I made the border using my edge punch and layering that cute Ribbon in the middle of the border.

For embellishments, I added some Dew Drops, Stickles, Gemstones and of course, piercings.

Here's a pictures that shows the dimension better. Be sure to stop by the Sketches! {by tamara} blog to see what the rest of the Team did for this challenge. It's definitely awesome:

RECIPE: Stamps: Sentiment (Studio G); Papers: Green and Cream c.s., Patterned paper (Basic Grey); Inks: Jumbo Java (VersaMagic), New Sprout (Memento); Accessories: Ribbon, Dew Drops, Gemstones, Waterfall Stickles, Foam tape, "Storybook" Cricut cartrige (Provo Craft); Tools: Cricut, Scor-Pal, Corner punch (Fiskars), Edge punch, Paper Piercer.

***********************************************************************************
Today i presen my first card I made with my friend Lindsay's New Digi Stamp. Please check out her new Digi Stamp On-line Store! She has the most adorable digi stamps for sale, starting at only $1! Don't forget you can print them out over and over again! All you would do is download it, then print it onto white cardstock and color it in! (after paying for it).

I made this card using the from Lindsay Digi stamp image "Chick and egg". I printed out the image two times exactly the same size. Then I cut out the part that I wanted to be 3-D and added it on top of the original image. I used 3-D pop dots to make them stand out on dimentionals . Added some Diamond Glaze to the image.

For sentiment I used $stamp set from Studio G. To finish the card, I added some ribbon, gemstones, Dew Drops and piercings.

I hope you have a wonderful day! ~Olena~

Inspirational Card Sketches DT # 14

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!! It is time for New Inspirational Card Sketch!!!! This week Dawn is hosting the ICS #14. Here is the card I made using the Sketch this week. (Now you can turn it, flip it, stretch it and rotate it).

In this card, I used the brayer technique for the background on the main image, then stamped the wild flowers ("Silhouettes" from Inque Boutique) over the top using Graphite black (Brilliance) craft ink. All of this is stamped on Glossy White cardstock (I've found that works best for the brayer technique). The base ink is from a Big and Juicy pad -"Foliage".

For sentiment "Happy Mother's Day" I used dollarstamp set from Studio G.

To finish the card, I added some Ribbon, brads, Gemstones, flowers, Cuttlebug die (Sweet Dots) and Piercings.
RECIPE: Stamps: "Silhouettes" (Inque Boutique) and sentiment (Studio G); Papers: DK.Brown and cream c.s.; Patterned paper. Inks: Graphite black (Brilliance), Jumbo Java (VersaMagic), Latte (Adirondack), Foliage (Big and Juicy pad)Accessories: Ribbon, Flowers, brads, gemstones, embossing folder (Sweet Dots), foam tape; Tools: Cuttlebug, Flowers punch, paper piercer.
