Time for sketches! #78

Happy Thursday to you all!!! And that means another sketch over at Sketches! {by tamara}!! I hope you play along with us this week!! Make sure you leave a link to your card at the Sketches! {by tamara} site!! We would LOVE to see your card!! For this card I used a NEW Patterned paper "Bittersweet" from Basic Grey. I used my classic square and scalloped square Nestabilities to create the three small square panels. Then, I embossed ("Sweet Dots" Cuttlebug) and sponged them. Next, I stamped the birds ("Hearts and Love" set from Inkadinkado) onto white c.s. using Chestnut Roan ColorBox ink and cut it out. I added some red heart gemstone in the middle of the panel and mounted birds onto a layered panels. For the sentiment, I used Dollar stamp from Studio "G" (Michaels). I stamped it on some pink c.s., and used my oval Nestabilities to cut it out. To finish the card, I added some Lace corner punch (Fiskars), ribbons, gemstones, silk flowers and some piercings.

RECIPE:
Stamps: "Hearts and Love" (Inkadinkado) and Sentiment (Studio "G")
Papers: Raspberry, brown, pink c.s.; Patterned paper (Basic Grey)
Inks: Chestnut Roan (ColorBox)
Accessories: Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic and Scalloped Ovals and Squares; Ribbons, Gemstones, Silk Flowers, Cuttlebug embossing folder
Tools: Cuttlebug machine; Corner punch (Fiskars); Brunch punch (Martha Stewart); Paper Piercer.

Have a blessed day! ~Olena~

That's a beautiful card Olena. I like that you used different colors than the traditional ones for your card. Who says Valentines have to be pink and red and white? NOY me!
