Time for sketches! # 100 and Lindsay's Stamp Stuff

Happy Thursday Everyone!!! It's Sketches! { by tamara} again. Here is the card I made using the Sketch #100 this week.

In this card, I used the brayer technique for the background on the main image, then stamped the "Floralr Silhouette 2" (Stampabilities) over the top using Pesto (Adirondack) craft ink. The base ink is from a Big and Juicy pad -"Foliage". For sentiment "Happy Birthday" I used "Greetings" stamp set from The Paper Company.

To finish the card, I added some Gemstones, Dew Drops and Piercings.

My second card, I made for the Lindsay's Stamps Stuff. Here is the card I made for this week.

This beautiful "Funky Tree #1" is actually a digital stamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. It is only $1.00. It is so easy to use too! I just printed the image and then colored in using my Prismacolor pencils with Odorless Mineral Spirits). The sentiment is from the Mini Message Cursive Stamp set from Heartfelt Creations. For embellishments I used some Dew Drops, Gemstones, Ribbon, Buttons and piercings to accent the card.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your Thursday! ~Olena~

Love both of these cards Olena! The colors on both are awesome! The brayering you did on the first card really looks great with your image. Did you brayer that second card too? I'm guessing you did because the colors are blended so nicely. That digi tree is super cute! I'm going to have to check out her site. Thanks for the great eye candy!

Both cards are stunning! My favorite is the Father's Day card. Your colors and combinations here look like a kit, designed to all be used together, right down to the colors you used on your stamp! What a wonderful Father's Day card.
